Stevenage Theatre Arts School (S.T.A.G) was established over 30 years ago. Since it's formation the school has gone on from strength to strength and now offers a wide variety of classes including - Ballet dancing - Tap dancing - Modern Dance and Street Dancing - for children from 2 years to adults.
At STAG all dance classes follow the ISTD (Imperial society of Teachers Dancing) syllabus as this is a nationally recognised and accredited dance faculty. Exams are offered to adults and children from 5 years upwards.
All students are given the opportunity to perform their work in front of a live audience and STAG always put on a show every 3 years at the Gordon Craig Theatre.
At STAG we take pride in being well organised and committed to the programmes we provide. As a result we provide students with a high level of dance training and support and this can be seen by the standard achieved by our students.
